Complete and functioning steel axle approx 28" in length. Ideal for small Civil War Cannon mount by one of the most famous Civil War Manufactures; AMES from Massachusetts. Exact date of manufacture is unknown, but certainly circa 1860 or earlier! VERY STURDY.
